The Associate Ministers in cooperation with the Pastor will function as support staff to promote the spiritual growth and welfare of the church; to serve faithfully and consistently in assigned tasks; to serve in the teaching ministry (Christian Education/Sunday School/Bible Study); to visit the sick and shut-in; to give concern for the morally delinquent and spiritually indifferent; give thoughtful consideration to the policies of the church that will enable it to fulfill it’s complete mission; to encourage by example and word the missionary, evangelistic, educational, stewardship responsibilities of the church, and perform such other duties as assigned.


To teach the truth about God in such a way that the Disciple will:

  • Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Become a member of the Body of Christ
  • Live in a Christian way

First Calvary will always teach the biblical ethics that will guide persons to:

  • Seek to come into right relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Equip Disciples for the work of ministry
  • Grow into mature discipleship
